Wat is NSDW?
Het Nationaal Studenten DansWeekend (NSDW) wordt georganiseerd in de stad van de dansvereniging die het evenement dat jaar organiseert. Dit jaar organiseert STUdance het NSDW, dus zal het plaatsvinden in het mooie Utrecht! Het middelpunt van het weekend is de danswedstrijd, waar we op diverse niveaus concurreren met andere dansverenigingen uit steden zoals Eindhoven, Enschede, Nijmegen, Rotterdam, Tilburg, Utrecht en Wageningen om verschillende medailles die door een jury worden uitgedeeld. Maar bovenal staat natuurlijk de gezelligheid centraal! Naast de wedstrijd is er ook een feest voor alle dansers en daarna kan iedereen slapen in het sportcentrum. Verder worden er ook allerlei activiteiten georganiseerd voor de deelnemers. Het NSDW heeft het hele weekend een overkoepelend thema. Zowel de wedstrijd als het feest zullen afgestemd zijn op dit thema. Laat je fantasie de vrije loop en geef vooral je eigen invulling hieraan in je optreden en in je outfits!

Thema 2024: Forest of Fantasies
Het thema van dit jaar is: Forest of Fantasies!
Laat je betoveren door het magische bos tijdens dit onvergetelijke weekend vol avontuur en verwondering. Dwaal door de betoverende wereld langs kronkelende paden die je leiden naar het mysterieuze bal. Hier vullen magische melodieën de lucht en kun je de hele avond dromerig dansen. Laat je leiden door de glinsterende paden, betreed de mystieke wereld en ontdek de geheimen die het magische bos te bieden heeft!
What is NSDW?
The National Student Dance Weekend (NSDW) is organized in the city of the dance association hosting the event that year. This year STUdance is organizing the NSDW, so it will take place in beautiful Utrecht! The centerpiece of the weekend is the dance competition, where we compete at various levels with other dance associations from cities like Eindhoven, Enschede, Nijmegen, Rotterdam, Tilburg, Utrecht and Wageningen for various medals that will be handed out by a jury. But above all, of course, the fun is central! Besides the competition, there is also a party for all dancers and afterward everyone can sleep in the sports center. Furthermore, all kinds of activities are also organized for the participants. The NSDW has a theme throughout the weekend. Both the competition and the party will be tailored to this theme. Let your imagination run wild and above all give your own interpretation to this in your performance and your outfits!
